Thanks for everyones ongoing support… Switching to Mac Team
There are obvious differences between Macs and PCs, but are there also differences between Mac users and PC users. In this Mac vs PC segment we will focus on the Mac vs PC users differences.
Who has the biggest team?
PCs are very prevalent with a market-share over the Mac being that of about 90-95%. This data is generally based on Quarterly sales which may not accurately indicate actual Mac vs PC users for the simple reason that Mac Users don’t refresh their computers as often as PC users. Some would argue that Mac vs PC users may actually be more in the range of 25% or more.
Another interesting turn of events is Apple’s huge profit growth that seems to be gaining momentum year over year. At Apple’s current rate of profit growth they will equalize the Mac vs PC market-share with a 50/50 ratio by the year 2010. During a Mugging in Brazil this MacBook Pro took one for the team and survived! Amazingly the MacBook Pro still works after a direct hit from a Gunshot. A true testament to a well built product.
As expected, Apple debuted a commercial for the upcoming iPhone during the Oscar awards ceremonies. It’s more of a teaser than a real commercial but it does have a number of famous celebrities answering the phone and finishes with a ‘Coming in June’ tagline.

We get positive and even a few critical emails from time to time, many about Grammar and Spelling mistakes (my bad). We like your feedback either way.
Here’s one of our latest email comments by a Switching to Mac viewer:
“I would like to switch to Mac but your slamming Bill Gates ad campaign only makes me think of Apple/Steve Jobs as a big bully. Why don’t you think of a better ad campaign than intimidation, degradation and a plain lack of common decency.”
So is Apple-Steve Jobs being a Big Bully? Are they out of line with their “Get a Mac” ad Campaign?
We want your comments on this one, you can also cast your vote in our Forum Poll.
When you make the switch to a Mac (or even buy an iPod), a nice little bonus you get inside the package is a couple of white Apple logo stickers.
Did you stick them on anything? Did your dog eat them? Did you even know you had them?
As you can see in the photo here, I stuck one on my car. This picture was taken about 15 minutes after I got home from the dealership with the new car….yeah, I’m that big of a fan that I stuck a sticker on my new car just minutes after buying it.
Today is Steve’s 52nd Birthday, Steve was born on the 24th of February, 1955. He later co-founded Apple along with Steve Wozniak in 1976. Steve is currently the CEO of Apple and Pixar (Pixar is now owned by Disney ironicaly making Steve Jobs the largest Shareholder at Disney!)
