If you would like to search the internet in private, read on. In this tutorial we will be showing you how to enable private browsing in Safari. When you do this, your history and AutoFill information will not be stored on your computer. This tutorial does not require any additional software.

Enabling Private Browsing In Safari

1. Open Safari by launching it from your dock or by searching for it in Spotlight.

2. Look at the Apple Toolbar. From here, click on the Safari option. A drop down menu will now appear. From this menu click the option labeled “Private Browsing…”.

3. A pop-up window will now appear. Look towards the bottom righthand corner of the window. You will see a button labeled “OK”. Click on this button to begin privately browsing the web.
