If you would like to quickly change your keyboard language on your Mac, read on. In this tutorial we will be showing you how to enable different typing languages. This tutorial does not require any additional software.
Enabling Additional Keyboard Languages on your Mac
1. To start, open System Preferences by launching it from your dock or by searching for it in Spotlight.

2. Look towards the top of the window under the Personal heading. Under this heading, click on the “Language & Text” option.

3. Look at the lefthand side of the window and you will see a sidebar. From this sidebar you can can choose which languages you would like to use. When you are done choosing, look towards the bottom of the window. Make sure that the checkbox next to ‘Show Input menu in menu bar” is clicked.

Changing Languages
Now that you have enabled the input menu in the menu bar, simply look at the Apple Toolbar. You should see an icon with a flag on it. This flag represents the currently selected language. To change languages, simply click on this flag. When you do this, a drop down menu will appear. From this menu, you can click on the language you would like to use.
