If you love watching Flash online videos, and would like to download them, read on! In this tutorial we will be showing you how to download almost any Flash video using a Mac app called Flash Video Downloader. This application is free from the developer’s website.

Downloading and Installing Flash Video Installer

1. Open a web browser of your choice and navigate to the Flash Video Downloader download link. When the website is fully loaded, look towards the middle of the page. You should see a link labeled “Download Now”. Click on this link to download the application.

2. Once the download has finished, open the DMG that was downloaded. This DMG is labeled “FVD2.dmg”.

3. When you open the DMG, a pop-up window will appear. Drag the Flash Video Downloader 2 application to the Applications folder and follow the steps in the next section.

Using Flash Video Downloader 2

1. Open Flash Video Downloader 2 by launching it from your dock or by searching for it in Spotlight.

2. Once the application has completely launched, look towards the center of the window. You will see a column labeled “Video URL”. In this column you will paste the link of the video that you would like to download. Find a video that you would like to download and copy the URL. Now, paste it into the URL column. Once you have pasted the link, press “Begin Downloading”.

If you would like to change the file destination, look at the Apple Toolbar. Now click on FIle. You will now see a drop down menu. From this menu, click on Preferences.

Once you are in the Preferences window, look towards the top of the window. You will see a title labeled “Default Download Destination”. Next to this you will see a button labeled “Select Folder”. When you click on this you will be be told to choose a destination.
