If you spend hours a day on your Mac, you probably glance at your Mac’s clock a few times a day to check on the time. This is why it’s important to tweak the clock to your liking by using your Mac’s built-in clock customization options. We will be showing you how to access these options in the tutorial below. This tutorial does not require any additional software or plugins.
Customizing Your Mac’s Clock
Lets start by looking at the righthand side of the Apple Toolbar where your Mac’s clock is located. Click on the clock and look towards the bottom of the drop down menu. You will see an option labeled “Open Date & Time Preferences”. Click on this option.

Look towards the top of the date and time preferences window and click on the tab labeled “clock”. You will now be brought to a page where you can customize your Mac’s clock. You can enable many different options such as having your Mac speak the time to you as well as switching between an analog and digital clock face.
