Photo effects are a fun way to personalize your photos. The simplest way to add photo effects to your photos is by using the iPhoto application.
In this tutorial we will be showing you how to add effects to your photos in the iPhoto application. This simple tutorial does not require any additional software.
Using iPhoto To Add Effects To Your Photos
1. Open iPhoto by launching it from your dock or by searching for it in Spotlight.
2. Double click on the photo that you would like to edit. Now, look towards the lower righthand corner of the iPhoto window. You will see five different buttons. Click on the Edit button.
3. Look towards the top righthand corner of the iPhoto window. You will see three different tabs. Click on the Effects tab.
4. Look at the sidebar that is located on the righthand side of the iPhoto window. You will see fifteen different photo effects that you can apply to the selected photo. To apply an effect, simply click on it.
