If you’ve been using Instagram for a while, chances are you’ve taken some really cool photos that you want to store locally on your Mac. Since Instagram profiles aren’t viewable on the desktop, it’s not easy to save the images. Luckily, Instaport has decided to fix this issue by offering a free service which lets you easily back up your Instagram photos to your computer.
Downloading your photos is easy. Simply head over to Instaport’s website and look towards the center of the page. Click on the button labeled “Sign in with Instagram“. When you do this, you’ll be prompted to sign in to your Instagram account. You can now authorize Instaport to access and download your photos.

Now that you’ve signed in, you can export your photos by clicking on the “Start export” button which is located towards the bottom of the page. If you’d like a bit more control over your images, click on the button labeled “Advanced options”. You can now choose which photos you would like to download by date, tag or other characteristics.

When you click on the “Start export” button, your images will be exported from Instagram to Instaport. This will take a little while, so sit back and relax while they export. Once they’re finished, you can click the “Download photos” button to download your Instagram images.
