How to email pictures directly from iPhoto using your Gmail account

Using the cool (and free) little plugin iPhoto2Gmail, you can send pictures from directly within iPhoto using your Gmail account.
- Start out by downloading iPhoto2Gmail. Make sure iPhoto is closed, and then unzip it and run the installer. You’ll click Continue a bunch of times and that’s about it.
- Now launch iPhoto. Select the photos you want to send to someone (or an entire album, but remember Gmail has a 20MB attachment size limit per email).
- Now select File -> Export…
- Select the iPhoto2Gmail tab. If the “Gmail Account Information” window doesn’t automatically pop up, click the Change User button.
- Enter your Gmail username and password, and place a check in the box labeled Remember My Gmail Information In Keychain unless you want to enter your user/pass each time. Click Sign In.
- iPhoto2Gmail will now download your Gmail contacts.
- Enter the email address you want to send your selected photos to. Or, click the Contacts button.
- If you have a lot of Gmail contacts like I do, use the search area to narrow down the addresses by entering a name or partial email address.
- Once you find the address you want to send you photos to, select it, and click the >> button to “copy” the address to the Recipients List. Repeat the above two steps to include more addresses if you want to send your pics to multiple addresses. When you’re done, click OK.
- Enter a Subject for your email, and a message if you wish. You can also opt to resize the pictures you’re sending if they’re particularly large. Just use the Resize Options: drop-down list to chose the size. When you’re ready to send your pictures, click the Export button.
- And off they go!
- Once the photos/email has been successfully sent, you’ll get a pop-up message telling you as much. That’s it, you’re done!

I love this stuff!! thank you soo much!
