The move is finally complete

October 11, 2008 by Ross McKillop

Switching To Mac has finally moved to its new home (web host). I’ve been referred to this one by a fellow blogger who has nothing but good things to say about their uptime, speed and support (he runs several high profile sites using them). The forums have been re-migrated and though a couple days worth of posts have been lost, I’m still considering it a success. Frankly, if I never have to look at cPanel or phpMyAdmin again, it’ll be too soon.

What does this mean to you? All of the posts I’ve been holding off on publishing, are now being scheduled. Forum updates and upgrades will start taking place. The site is ready to kick-off and start going full-steam. By nothing but sheer luck (frankly, it’s about time some good luck came my way regarding this whole transition) all of this happened on a Friday. That gives the weekend for DNS to propagate across the Internet, meaning that by Monday, when the first batch of tutorials are scheduled to go up, the vast majority of you will have no problem viewing them.

Phew.
