Some good news has arrived for iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 users who have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the iPhone 5. On October 4th, 2011, Apple will be hosting a keynote with the slogan “Let’s talk iPhone” at the Town Hall Auditorium, Pacific Headquarters in Cupertino, CA.

“Let’s talk iPhone,” of course, is quite a generic statement in regards to an event that could present other aspects too. Some tech enthusiasts have claimed that the event will introduce a new, redesigned iPhone 5, while others have stated that there will be no iPhone 5, but rather, an up-spec’d iPhone 4GS. Alternatively, others believe that there will be two versions of the iPhone to be released, one being a more affordable version similar to the iPhone 4, and the other being a fully reengineered iPhone 5.

On a more certain note, iOS 5 is very likely to be debut and released, as it has been in development stages for quite some time now. Apple will likely detail all of iOS 5′s features at the event, but one of the more promising new additions that Apple fans are looking forward to is wireless sync, a technology that would automatically sync an iPhone’s contents with iTunes on a computer, without the need for a physical USB cable.

Facebook is also hyped to be debuting an official app for the iPad at the Apple event. This would be a welcome addition for Facebook users, as there have been unofficial Facebook apps that have gotten lower reviews, but a newly redesigned, official Facebook app for the iPad should be more navigable.

Finally, the event will likely include some further news and a possible release date for iCloud, Apple’s latest venture into the cloud computing market. Apple has recently been deploying minor updates to OS X, to help prepare Mac user’s for the release of iCloud, and this event should add some clarity to iCloud.
