I am from Canada, & am heading to Vegas next month - I have an unlocked iPhone 3G, and was wondering about pre paid sim cards? & how I'll be able to use one?
Where can I get one? How much?
Will I be able to use my phone for data? GPS? Location aware apps?
Any ideas/info would be great.

I live in Canada as well I forgot to mention, and Fido (my carrier) doesn't offer an international data plan thing.

Does anyone have a good way for me to utilize my iPhone when I travel to Italy next month without incurring lots of charges?
I will turn Data roaming off, but does that mean I can't use the GPS?  or location awarness apps like urbanspoon and the likes?
I don't plan on making many calls, & I will keep an eye out for wifi.

I dragged the english files into iCals contents (right click iCal ->show contents), & dropped it into the Resources file.  Viola!

Hi there, I tried to erase all the languages I don't use in iCal, except it erased english as well.  Now I Can't open iCal anymore.. Any ideas?

Hello, I have a mid 2008 intel iMac 2.4 GHz 20", and I just put in 4G of 800 MHz RAM into it.  Is there a website or program that I can run my mac through to see what kind of performance I'm getting??  I ask, because it seems a wee slow as of late.
I have macaroni installed as well, which I've been told takes care of some "house cleaning".

My D Link router was using WEP security, instaed of WAP

I just bought (today) the brand new iMac 2.4GHz (frickin' sweet) along with the AirPort Express, and trying to get it hooked up...I get it all configured, then I get an error message saying: AirPort Utility was unable to find your Apple wireless device after restarting.
The amber light is flashing, and it seems the AirportExpress never even restarts.
I've tried factory reset and the likes, even exchanged for a new one, but still have the problem.
Any idears?

I've never done this, and no little to nothing about it.  BUT... this applications 'sounds to me' like it will do what you're wanting to do.  Research it well before making the move, however... and like I said... I'M NOT SAYING IT WILL WORK. - JamesJM

the thing is though, I'm exchanging my pc before i get the mac...so i need to put the stuff on the ipod first, then i won't have the pc to transfer to the mac.

I am  going to buy a new mac, and want to transfer  files from  my pc  to  the  mac  using my Ipod.    I  just  erased  all my  music  on  the  pc  but  still  have  it  on my  Ipod...if  I  use  the  disc-mode  thing  on  the Ipod,  can  I  get  the  pc  files  to the mac as well as the music  on my  Ipod  to the mac?
